The Northern Wasatch Association of Realtors Affiliate Committee held their annual Golf Tournament on Friday, August 12th at The Barn Golf Course in North Ogden.  Over 136 Golfers participated as well as 18 Hole Sponsors.   A hot breakfast was prepared in the morning by Troy Thompson and The Nook & Kranny Home Inspection Team as well as Dale Thompson and Mark Gonzalez. Our lunch was also sponsored by UtahRealEstate.com MLS. The 1st place team was awarded their local NWAOR Dues for 2017, and the 2nd & 3rd place teams were awarded $50.00 & $25.00 to each member of their foursome. A sizzling hot housing market is pushing Utah home sales to new records. That’s according to a new report that says Utah Realtors sold the most homes ever during the month of May. The records, which date back to 2003, show a 6 percent increase in statewide sales, according to the Utah Association of Realtors. That’s up from an exceptional month last year. This May, Utah Realtors sold nearly 5,000 properties, an increase of about 300 sales from 2015. The hot real estate market extended to Northern Utah, especially as buyers looked for more housing choices close to Salt Lake.
