Ashley Wolthuis

Ashley Wolthuis began her real estate journey in 1996, working at an appraisal firm in Ogden. After completing her studies at Weber State University with a BA in political science and communications, Ashley went on to get her master’s degree in development studies from the Universitat Jaume I in Castellon, Spain.  Ashley earned her appraiser’s license and joined NWAOR as a Realtor in 2004, and soon opened the appraisal firm Element Appraisal. In 2005, Ashley became a licensed real estate agent and has worked full-time as an agent and appraiser since.

As an accomplished real estate agent with RE/MAX Associates – South Ogden, she’s garnered numerous accolades, including the NWAOR Top 250 Realtor Award every year since its inception, as well as the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award and Titan Club Award. In 2022, Ashley was asked to be the keynote speaker at the Utah State Tax Commission’s annual conference, the first time a real estate agent has been invited to speak at the event.

This summer, Ashley stepped down from her position as the co-chair for the Board of Governors for the National Association of Appraisers, a position she held for over five years, in order to focus on helping the members of NWAOR navigate upcoming national changes that will impact both appraisers and agents. Ashley is also the former President of the Utah Coalition of Appraisal Professionals (UTCAP). Her expertise extends to being a noted contributor to national real estate publications and a continuing education instructor for the Utah Division of Real Estate.

An avid history lover and traveler, Ashley loves nothing more than going on adventures with her husband, two kids, and their dogs. A lover of all things desert, a perfect weekend for Ashley would be spent in Southern Utah with her family and no internet.
