In response to numerous requests from Realtor members, our Board of Directors has decided to move the dues billing cycle to the summer.  This will change the billing cycle from January 1 – December 31 to July 1 – June 30.  This dues cycle will align NWAOR with other boards in the state and will simplify the dues billing process.  This member requested initiative will allow for dues to be collected at the peak of sales season rather than the low point and holiday season. Ogden Named Top City for Young Buyers

Despite the obstacles of student loan debt and rising home prices, young buyers still have a feasible path to homeownership. In fact, a national study recently named Salt Lake and Ogden as two of the top areas for buyers under 35. The National Association of Realtors studied employment growth, population trends, incomes and housing conditions in the nation’s 100 largest metropolitan statistical areas to identify the best places for millennials who are buying their first homes. With the murder of real estate agent, Beverly Carter, her son is urging for greater safety measures to be taken to prevent this from happening to someone else. With the tragic murder, it is important for agents to make safety a top priority and REALTOR® associations across the country are taking extra precautions to train and ensure safety for agents.
